This is a gem in Toledo! Up and coming location with great coffee shops, sandwich shops, brewery all nearby. Convenient access to the Amtrak if you are using that as your mode of transportation. The room was well thought-out, spacious, and spotless. Dog-friendly. Quiet location at night. I love the history of this place. Will stay here again next time I come through Toledo! Update 8/31/25: We loved our stay so much, we chose to route back through Toledo to stay here on our road trip back! Great location and setup for us and our miniature dachshunds.

We loved everything about our stay at Hotel Royal! The check in instructions were extremely detailed making it super easy! The room was very clean.It was very quiet and we loved every second of our stay! We will for sure be coming back for another stay here!

Very clean and extremely well presented throughout the stay by host Erin. She goes out of her way to make if a comfortable stay from start to finish. The Valentines Day special of flowers and a sweet treats made locally was such a nice touch. This renovated building in the trendy warehouse district has plenty of class and charm for a great stay. We look forward to it again sometime.

This place is amazing, so clean and the staff are so friendly. The outdoor fire was beautiful and the inside lounge lobby was so cozy. My room was super clean and had refreshing variety of beverages. This is a gem and Im glad I stayed here.

I absolutely loved my stay here! Communication was excellent, room was clean and the western vides made it perfect for the country concert we were in town for! Bed was cozy too! Amenities (like local coffee grounds) was top notch! Highly recommend!

I stayed here last night and absolutely love this place. It's like your favorite auntie who's got a great eye for interior design and a welcoming heart left you the key to her city house. The rooms look like the pictures but even better. Sweet. Bed, linens, coffee bar, all top drawer. One dissonant note... one-ply toilet paper? My guess is someone else did the most recent TP restock. If I try to describe all the great things about this place we'll be here forever. So how about this... they have an in-room tent on offer if you're traveling with a kid who wants their own space. I've never heard of such a thing! If you like the looks of this place just book it. It's a delight.

I was thrilled to have found this place available at the last minute. Driving from New York City to Chicago, I had no desire to stay at a large chain hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. As a PBN enthusiast, I loved The Paint by Number horse paintings and what they represented. I had never been to Toledo but my stay at this hotel makes me want to come back to explore. Thank you, Erin for your communication. It was a great experience.
